Blinken met today with UK Defense Secretary Grant Shapps in Washington. They two discussed the recent attack on U.S. forces in Jordan. Secretary Blinken underscored that the United States will hold accountable those responsible for the attack. The two also discussed the ongoing situation in the Red Sea and international action to hold the Houthis accountable for their illegal and reckless attacks on vessels in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.
